Fantastic read! Could not put it down, the writer’s style is very fun and full of lovely prose. Darkhaven starts with teenager Gabby, in her last year of school and confronted with lots of life decisions that she has no clue how to make. Gabby gets hit by lightning in an electrical storm on the way home and wakes up in the middle of a conspiracy with developing new powers. Lots of fun, can’t wait to read the rest of the series. 5/5

Fabulous read! I loved the feel of it being set in my old home town in Western Australia. Gabby’s story takes you on a journey of discovery and her ability to be so indecisive brought back memories of my end-of-school years. Can’t wait for the next one! The expectation feels like when having to wait for the next Harry Potter book!
